I would like to draw the attention of CDA to a problem faced by visitors, residents and students, who come to visit one of the historical mosques of Islamabad. The posh area and surrounding of Faisal Mosque is under threat by stray dogs. The numbers of these stray dogs is increasing, they bark and maul people, who come to visit the mosque. Furthermore, these dogs are also causing nuisance for students of a hostel in the area, as well as for those who usually come to the area for a stroll, early in the morning and evening.

The CDA should take necessary measures forthwith to save visitors, residents and students of the area from the menace of these ferocious dogs.

HUSSAIN MARRI,

Islamabad, September 15.
