Karachi- The First Information Report (FIR) of Dr Hafiz Muhammad Shakeel Auj’s killing has been filed in Aziz Bhatti Police Station on today.
Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Shakeel Auj was the Dean of Islamic Studies department at Karachi University. He was targetted by unknown gunmen near Bait-ul-Mukarram Mosque at Gulshan-e-Iqbal area.  He was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Auj’s daughter was also severely wounded in the firing incident. The FIR was filed by the slain professor’s son. Murder, murder attempt and terrorism charges have been included in the case.
