MUZAFFARABAD: Five persons, four of them women, were killed and three others injured when a jeep plunged into a deep ravine in Muzaffarabad on Sunday. According to police, the accident occurred when a speeding jeep went out of driver’s control while negotiating a sharp turn and plunged into a ravine at Chinari area. Resultantly five persons were killed and three others sustained injuries. The rescue teams rushed to the area and pulled out the injured and bodies. The injured were rushed to local hospital. Identity of the deceased persons could not be ascertained immediately.–Online
