Rawalpindi - Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan yesterday expressed deep sorrow and grief over the sad demise of mother of former PML-N MNA Malik Shakil Awan, who died after prolong illness.
He also offered fateh and prayed to Allah Almighty to give rest to the departed soul. According to details, Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan along with Provincial Minister for Labour and Manpower Raja Ashfaq Sarwar visited the residence of ex-MNA and Coordinator Prime Minister Youth Loan Scheme Malik Shakil Awan at Raja Bazaar and condoled the death of his mother.
Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan remained there for sometime and offered fateh. On the occasion, PML-N local leaders including Sajid and Yasir Butt were also present. While a large numbers of supporters of N-League also gathered outside the residence of ex-MNA.
Under the supervision of City Police Officer (CPO) Israr Ahmed Khan Abbasi, police made tight security arrangements upon arrival of the ministers to avoid any untoward incident.
Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan also asked City Police Officer (CPO) Israr Abbasi and Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Dr Sardar Ghias Gull to control crime rate and traffic rush in the city. He ordered the police officers to control increasing incidents of vehicles’ theft and traffic rush to facilitate the commuters. He also asked the high-ups of Rawalpindi Waste Management Department (RWMD) to keep the city clean.
