ISLAMABAD (APP)-Bhara Kau police Islamabad seemed confused into the investigation of an accident case in which a student of local college was killed after being overrun by a van when the conductor allegedly pushed him. Fahim Haider, a 3rd year student at a local college, lost his life in a road accident about five days before. The driver and conductor of the van managed to escape following the accident. When contacted, Investigation Officer ASI Umer Hyat said that the driver Kamran Hafeez s/o Hafeez has been arrested by the police while the conductor is still at large. He said police are looking into the matter and trying to arrest the conductor. Meanwhile, Naib Muharrar of Bhara Kau police station, Muhammad Jehnagir told that matter has been settled and it is too late to ask about this case. Station House Officer Bhara Kau police station Abdul Rasheed Niazi, who was in Faisalabad when contacted for comments, said the driver has been arrested while conductor is reportedly escaped in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. When asked that Naib Muharrar is telling otherwise, he said I am in Faisalabad and do not have further information. Our job is to arrest and challan the accused. If parties settle anything, it is upto them. There might be some progress in this regard, he maintained. However, he could not elaborate exact situation after investigation into the case.
