72nd death anniversary of Iqbal on 21st

ISLAMABAD (Online) - The 72nd death anniversary of poet-philosopher Allama Iqbal will be observed on April 21 with utmost respect. Dr Allama died on 21 April 1938 at the age of 60. Special programmes, seminars, speeches and debates will be held at govt and private level to pay homage to the services of Dr Iqbal. The newspapers would publish special editions and PTV and private TV channel would air different programmes to mark 72nd death anniversary of Dr Allama Iqbal. Allama Iqbal is thought to be a Sufi poet of modern age. Formation of Pakistan ideology is one of his great achievements as a politician that he presented in 1930, the same ideology resulted in independence of Pakistan. Even he died before the independence of Pakistan but he is considered national hero of Pakistan. Bang-e-Daar, Baal Jabreel, Zarb-e-Kaleem and Payam-e-Mashriq are his great books.
