LAHORE - A French expert of FIH accredited laboratory is inspecting the base of the national hockey stadium to carry out necessary tests before laying the blue-coloured surface.
"I have taken the samples of the base and shock pads of the surface which were sent to England for testing and evaluation and hopefully the results will be received in eight to ten days," said Anthony Apparailly of Labosport of Hong Kong while talking to media here on Thursday at National Hockey Stadium.
The French expert will stay in the city for three days to complete his work and then returning to Pakistan in the end of May to supervise the performance of the laid surface. DG Sports Board Punjab Usman Anwar who was also present on the occasion expressed his satisfaction over the pace of work and said.
