PESHAWAR - A delegation of Peshawar Bar Association met Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ameer Haider Khan Hoti at his office.

The delegation was led by President PBA Wakil Zaman Khattak. Provincial Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Barriester Arshad Abdullah, ANP Provincial General Secretary Arbab Muhammad Tahir and President District Peshawar Arbab Najibullah were also present on the occasion.

The CM offered a cheque of grant worth Rs 5 million to the president of the association on behalf of the provincial government. The Chief Minister said that his government is undertaking sincere efforts for welfare of lawyer community and provision of better environment for dispensation of their professional obligations. President PBA thanked the CM and said that he had always encouraged the association, adding that the lawyer community was thankful to him.

Other members of the delegation were Raza Ullah, Muhammad Fahim, Shah Faisal Utmankhel, Khuram Shahzad, Bashar Naveed, Qasim Khan, Hayat Ullah and others.

Meanwhile talking to MPAs during his weekly meetings, the CM said that the process of provision of basic life needs and facilities is being in full swing across the province. He said that in result of government such steps, positive and long lasting impacts would be created on people welfare and construction and development. He stressed the MPAs for a closer eye on development schemes in their respective constituencies in order these efforts undertaken for welfare of the people to bear fruits. Those who met the CM included provincial ministers and MPAs hailing from different political parties.
