ISLAMABAD  - Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration has expedited implementation on plan of action against the dengue in the rural areas of Islamabad and anti-mosquito spray is underway to get rid of it and keep city dengue free in future. In all, 14 anti-mosquito spray teams headed by the Assistant Commissioners and Magistrates have been activated under the supervision of District Health Officer, Islamabad Dr. M. Azhar and in charge dengue surveillance cell, ICT, Dr. Najeeb Durranni, the official source informed here on Thursday. Dengue surveillance cell has started working in the office of District Health Officer, Islamabad under the supervision of Dr. Najeeb Durrani,and fumigation as well as fogging is being carried out in those rural areas from where dengue patients had been reported in the last year.  First round of anti-mosquito spray has been completed while administration has also activated municipal councils staff to carry out cleanliness drive.
