ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr Thursday and discussed with him the overall situation with special reference to law and order in the country, incidents of violence in Gilgit-Baltistan, Karachi, Balochistan and the Bannu jailbreak. During the meeting, both leaders discussed specific measures to check the increasing incidents of sectarian violence and target killings. The president also briefed the prime minister about his visit to Gayari sector.  President Zardari lauded the courage of the brave soldiers who were defending the frontiers despite all odds and difficulties. The president said that all available resources would be utilised in expediting the search and rescue operation in Gayari sector.
