A delegation of Awaz Forum Tehsil Noorpur Thal (AFTNT) led by its president Malik Manzoor Ahmad Baga had a meeting with Khushab DCO Ziaur Rehman at his Office.

The delegation members including Advocate Malik Aziz Hussain Jara, Malik Namat Ullah Gahi and Malik Noor Din apprised the DCO of all burning issues of the inhabitants of Thal.

Speaking on the occasion, the DCO said that government was taking solid steps for the provision of best facilities to the citizens of far-flung areas. He said all development projects in Thal were being completed very speedily so that people should enjoy best living standard. He said that developmental schemes should be planned keeping in view needs of the people of Noorpur Thal as well as adjoining areas to ensure harmonious development. The DCO said that I would reach out to the masses to assess their requirements and seek their input both in the completion of projects as well as planning for the future. The new budget was also prepared on the same lines, he said. He further said that the “open door policy “ has brought every officer how is serving in Khusahb District within the reach of an ordinary citizen. He also said that the visitors or allowed to meet me without any reference, shit, or recommendation. Every officer of every department is now assessable to common man since the open door policy had been implemented on the orders of the Chief Minister Punjab in the District Ziaur Rehman informed the delegation that Rescue 1122 Service would be started in Noorpur Thal as soon as possible. He further said that traffic police also would be appointed at Kashmir chowk Noorpur Thal for the betterment of traffic system. The DCO said that he would take all possible steps for further development of the villages of Thal as these were important areas of Khushab District. He also assured his support to Awaz Forum tehsil Noorpur Thal for betterment of the inhabitants of far flung areas.
