ISLAMABAD - Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) Chairman XI beat ICCI President XI by 5-wickets in a rain-shortened annual cricket match played here Sunday. ICCI Founder Group chairman Abdul Rauf was the chief guest on the occasion. ICCI President XI skipper Muzammil Sabri won the toss and opted to bat first in a 15 overs match and as thanks to superb batting by Junaid Tandoori (51) ICCI president XI posted a huge 141-6 in allotted 15 overs. Babar made 29. Naveed Malik and Nasir Mehmood Chaudhry took two wickets each. Chairman XI achieved the target with eight balls to spare for the loss of five wickets. Sajjad Chahtha (34), Akhunzada Faheem (22), Saeed Ahmed Bhatti (18*) and Sohail (14*) batted well. Sajjad was named player of the match while Shakeel Munir was given shield for outstanding catch.
