SAMBRIAL - Pakistan and Saudia Arabia are bonded in ever-lasting brotherly relation and both the countries have always stood together for the integrity and sovereignty of each other’s. Pakistan’s stance is very clear as it has said from day one that Saudi Arabia is a brotherly country which has always supported it in difficult times. Pakistan would not lag behind if there is any threat to Saudi Arabia’s territorial integrity as the hearts of Pakistanis and Saudis beat in unison.

The views were expressed by PML-N Europe Chief organizer (France) Ch Shamrooz Elahi Ghumman, France president Riaz Papa and General Secretary Sheikh Wasim Akram while talking to journalist at the residence of Ch Shamrooz Elahi Ghumman here in Sambrial.

They also explained that Pakistan fully supports the UN Security Council’s resolution on Yemen, adding that Islamabad respects the decision of the international community.

To a question, Shamrooz GHumman said that the entire nation was united on issues of national importance and parliament has demonstrated that united stance as it is the institution that represents the will of people of Pakistan. He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif himself has issued a policy statement on Yemen in which he strongly condemned actions by the non-state actors in Yemen to overthrow the legitimate government and called for restoration of the legitimate government. To a question about Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s visit to Saudi Arabia, he said that Pakistan has very close relations with Riyadh, adding that such visits reflected the warm and close ties between the two brotherly states.

Replying to another question, Riaz Papa said the nation was waiting for what proofs the PTI produces in the Judicial Commission about allegations of Najam Sethi’s so-called “35 punctures”, Iftikhar Chaudhry’s involvement in rigging and role of a private media house in changing results of the 2013 general elections. He said so far the PTI has not presented anything new. About the Karachi by-election, he said that the PML-N did not field its candidate in NA-246 as it could have given a political colour to the ongoing operation in Karachi.
