Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar has directed for closure of all clinics being run by quacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa within a week, reported by Radio Pakistan. 

He issued the directive while hearing a case regarding quacks in Supreme Court Registry, Peshawar on Friday morning.

The Chief Justice was informed by Chairman Healthcare Commission that there are fifteen thousand quacks in the province and action has been taken against one hundred twenty two quacks so far.

Presenting a report to the Chief Justice about withdrawal of security from unentitled persons, IG Police Salahuddin Mehsud said one thousand seven hundred sixty-nine security guards and gunmen have been recalled.
