'I have nothing to give but justice,' says CJP

Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Saqib Nisar has remarked it is the personalities that play a major role in building the institutions.

CJP while talking to the inaugural ceremony of Charsadda judicial complex today stated it is now the time that judiciary should deliver otherwise we will not be able to achieve our goals.

“I have travelled the world and Charsadda judicial complex is one of the best judicial complexes in the world.” Chief Justice stated.

Justice Nisar lamented that decades-old cases are still pending in the courts and people don’t get justice in their lives, “ I have nothing to give but justice”, he further added.

Talking about the fundamental rights of the people he said, education and health are the basic necessities of life and it is the foremost responsibility of the government to make sure that all the people in the country have access to these facilities.

“Allah gave us the strength to fulfill our responsibilities and all I need is your corporation in this regard”, he added.

Justice Saqib Nisar was on a two-day visit to  Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where he inquired people about their problems and heard several cases related to public welfare at Peshawar registry.
