ISLAMABAD Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that Pakistani nation donates money for the sake of its life hereafter but the problem is that neither the people from home nor abroad are trusting on the present leadership. He expressed these views in the Waqt News programme Barwaqt. He said that while the nation was passing through the worst crisis, President Zardari went on foreign trip instead of uniting the nation. He said it was for the first time in the history of Pakistan, that it had got lowest foreign aid in an hour of need and present governments character was responsible for this. Imran Khan said that Pakistanis living abroad send about 19 billion dollars. If they are assured that their money would be spent judiciously, we would need no foreign aid., he added. Imran Khan said he was first man who went to Mianwali and supervised the relief work without photo session.
