LAHORE - A 35-year-old man was shot dead by an unidentified bike-rider in Chung police limits on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Muhammad Tanveer, resident of Shahpur Kanjara. Police investigators said that the victim was at his home when an unknown bike-rider came and asked his nephew Waqas, who was standing outside the house, to call his uncle outside. After this, Tanveer came out of the house and the bike-rider fired three shots at him and escaped from the crime scene. The injured was shifted to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to injuries. Police have registered a murder case against the unknown accused person on the complaint of deceaseds brother Shabbir with no arrest till filling of this report. Police has shifted the body to city morgue for autopsy.
