PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif on Thursday telephoned Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, reminding the latter that he was supposed to form the proposed aid commission within 48 hours, reported a private TV channel. In his response, the prime minister said he would be able to reply after holding consultations with other political leaders, the TV channel said while quoting sources. Nawaz told Gilani that he, during their meeting, had already talked to ANP President Asfandyar Wali and MQM leader Farooq Sattar after the establishment of the commission was proposed. "Now who else is there that you want to discuss the matter with?" Nawaz asked. Gilani replied by saying, "I would get back to you after discussing it with some other leaders." The sources said the conversation disappointed Nawaz, as he remarked it seemed that the government was not willing to form the commission. "Now the PML-N will have to see as to what options it is now left with," he said.
