AHMEDPUR EAST - Eidul Fitr is being observed with religious fervour in Subdivision Ahmedpur East today with congregations being held at 125 mosques, Imambargahs and open places of Chanigoth, Uchsharif, Dera NawabSahib, Mubarakpur, Hatehji, Kotla Musa Khan, Khairpur Dahan, Dhorkot and city AhmedpurEast.
Main Eid congregation will be led by Maulana Mufti Mohammad Ahmed Mehmoodi in Markazi Eidgah Mamoon Park Ahmedpur East while Prince Falahuddin Abbasi and other leading members of the Abbasi family will offer their Eid prayers at Royal Eidgah Dera Nawab Sahib. He will also meet general public at his residence Sadiq Garh Palace where sweets and soft drinks will be served.
Bahawalpur National Awami Party Chief Nawab Salahuddin Abbasi and his son Prince Bahawal Abbas Khan Abbasi will celebrate Eid in London. Meanwhile, Circle Police have made high security arrangement to avoid any untoward incident. Deputy Superintendent of Police Rana Naveed Mumtaz has deployed 220 police officials besides Qaumi Razakars for Eid duty at different mosques and imambargahs while police mobiles and motorbikes will continue patrolling round the clock.
