LAKKI MARWAT - Pakistan Wapda Hydro Electric Labour Union, Lakki Marwat chapter, held a meeting here on Saturday to devise a strategy to accelerate campaign against defaulters and overcome line losses.

Divisional chairman Haji Jamal Shah Abakhel presided over the meeting, which was attended among others by office bearers of Pesco Lakki, Serai Gambila, Serai Naurang and Darra Pezu sub divisions.

Haji Jamal Shah and other union leaders said at the meeting that all out efforts would be made to improve recoveries by tightening noose around defaulters.

They said that Pesco employees would speed up their campaign against defaulters so as to enhance recoveries.

“Besides the workers will strive hard to overcome line losses and provide all sorts of relief to the consumers”, they maintained.

 They thanked Pesco Chief Executive Brig (retired) Tariq Sadozai for allocating Rs 50 million for TA bills and payment of half-day wages to the employees.

They also hailed the provision of POL for vehicles and additional marks to the employees who could not qualify departmental examination, saying that these incentives will encourage Pesco workers to perform their professional obligation honestly.
