LAHORE - Issuance of SRO 413(I)2012 proves that government is not keen to promote exports. This SRO will harm exports bitterly so government should withdraw it in the best interest of economy. This was stated by Sheikh Abdul Waheed Sandal, Regional Chairman FPCCI while commenting on the issuance of SRO (I) 2012.

He said mandatory installation of tracking devices and levy of heavy tracking charges will further aggravate the deteriorated situation of exports fighting against the perpetual escalation of cost of doing business. This unrealistic surge in logistic cost will further erode the competitiveness of country’s exports.

 in the international market.

He urged the government to withdraw the SRO 413 (I) 2012 and public notice No 01/ 2012, otherwise business community would have no option but to protest against unfriendly business policies of the government.
