SHEIKHUPURA - A landlord was shot dead over an old enmity in village Ajnianwala on Saturday.
Muhammad Abbas was on his way to his farmhouse. When he reached near his outhouse, four armed men including Amjad, Khalid and others opened fire on him. He received critical injuries and died on the way to a hospital. Area police registered a case against. However, the accused are still at large.
ROBBERIES, THEFTS: In different incident of robbery and theft, outlaws fled away with cash and other valuables in the city and its adjoining areas. Robbers entered into the house of Head Constable Imran Ali in Sheish Mahal locality and looted cash and other valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees. While a political worker Bashir Awan was deprived of his motorcycle when he parked it outside a mosque in Nabi Pura locality.
Meanwhile two armed outlaws stopped Muhammad Khan on gunpoint in Mohallah Ram Garh and snatched his two wheeler on gunpoint and managed to escape.
