ISLAMABAD - Lawmakers of treasury and opposition benches on the second consecutive in the National Assembly on Tuesday assured their full support to Prime Minister in the current political turmoil, suggesting the PM not to even think about tendering resignation.

The house with the thin presence of lawmakers only focused on the sit-in of Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri, suggesting both the leaders to hold talks with the government.

A PML-L lawmaker Mian Abdul Manan, on his turn, even warned both Imran and Qadri to avoid foul language against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

He also said that the country has faced billion of rupees loss due to these protests in the federal capital.

“What to talk about seriousness, as KP CM Pervez Khattak is seen dancing on music,” he added.

He said it is not the matter of four constituencies but the protesting parties are working against the process of development and progress in the country.

A PPP’s legislator Imran Zafar Leghari assured their support to PML-N in this political turmoil.

JUI-F Maulana Amir Zaman said that action should be taken against the violators of the constitution. “What if we stage a sit-in before the KPK assembly and demand resignation of CM,” he said asking the Prime Minister not to resign.

He also compared both the leaders with Taliban for not accepting parliament and constitution. “If case had been registered against Sufi Mohammad, why it can not be registered against you,” he added.

Abdul Rahim Mandokhel from PkMAP said it is the responsibility of the government and the opposition parties to protect the constitution and the parliament. “A few thousand people are talking about revolution,” he criticized.
