Islamabad - A motorcyclist sustained minor injuries yesterday when an official car of the US embassy hit him on the Seventh Avenue.

According to the local police, a land cruiser (GX-123) driven by an official of the US embassy , Veguss, hit a motorbike (VQ-518) and wounded its rider. The injured, Zain-ul-Abidin, was later shifted to Polyclinic for medical care. He is stated to be an employee of PIMS. Aabpara police have impounded both the land cruiser and the motorcycle with no clue of the injured. The police said that Zain left the hospital immediately after getting treatment and did not contact them. On the other hand, the US embassy official left the scene soon after the accident, the police said.
