ISLAMABAD : Pakistan and Russia today signed a landmark security deal for the purchase of Mi-35 ‘Hind E’ helicopters. According to our sources, the agreement was signed by top defence officials from Pakistan and Russia in Rawalpindi. Under the deal, Russia will sell four Mi-35 attack helicopters to Pakistan. The agreement is believed to have been finalized during COAS General Raheel Sharif’s visit to Russia. Islamabad is eager to improve its ties with Moscow to diversify its options in international relations.
