You’re a prominent makeup-artist and hairstylist who has spent years in fashion industry. When did you know a career in beauty was for you?

Since I was a child I was obsessed with makeup. I used to make hairstyles of my family members, friends, and relatives. After then I went to London for professional makeup courses. My vision was to raise the bar and bring about a change in the way and scale at which makeup is taught and perceived in Pakistan. I got training from leading international makeup artists at London. So one thing led to another and when I discovered I was good in it. I opened my own saloon and in this way my journey started.

Can you duplicate a makeup look from pictures in a magazine?

As a makeup artist I literally had every single line of cosmetics at my finger tips. Actually no because have my own style of makeup. No client comes to me and says I want this look as in magazine. They always say one thing to me we want that look as you recently did on a model, actress etc.

What is the best thing about your team?

The best thing of my team is they are active and professional people. Every two months international makeup artists come and give them training on makeup classes. They teach bridal makeup, party make up and everything new related to Makeup.

Which according to you has been your biggest achievement?

Miracle transformation master class has been my biggest achievement .The vision to organize this master class was to empower women to express their beauty as subtly or dramatically as they wanted, helping them create signature looks, with tested and endorsed beauty products with no limits to creativity.

You have done beautifully work on many celebrities. Who have you not worked on that you’d kill to get into your chair?

There are so many! I would love to get my hands on Ashwarya Rai. Not because she is absolutely gorgeous, but she has this incredible confidence and beautiful energy. Together we could definitely have some fun.

What inspired you to launch miracle transformation master class?

When I met sehar from beauty hook we decided to launch miracle transformation master class. She build up all the entire team. We believed that every woman has the power to miraculously transform in to the most beautiful version of her. All she need is the right beauty training and expert advice.  The industry was lacking something different and trailblazing which is why this workshop was put together. I was inspired by the hundreds of beauty worshops I have attended internationally and felt it was about time that the Pakistani beauty industry also brings fourth an experience that is at par with international standards. It was Pakistan’s first beauty class that showcased the latest in beauty trends and innovations hitting the market in Pakistan.

How would you describe your signature look and what is it about your style that sets you apart from other makeup artists?

My signature look is I focus a lot on eye makeup. I like dramatic eye makeup. When people look at the bride I style they call me and say you have style her very brilliantly. My team hard work & and passion about this profession sets me apart from all other makeup artists.

What are your favourite trends this season?

I feel that a lot of gold is going to be used this season. So diverse shades of gold I would say. We are coming up with rose gold; purple products which are rarely used in the fashion industry.
