ISLAMABAD - Pakistan has strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in Van, Bitlis, Diyarbakir and Elazig in Turkey, in which a number of people including security personnel were martyred and a large number of others injured.

Foreign Office spokesman in a statement in Islamabad on Friday extended heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the brotherly govt and people of Turkey and to the bereaved families.

He also prayed for the speedy and full recovery of the injured. The spokesman said that Pakistan is in abiding solidarity with Turkey as it wages a valiant struggle against the scourge of terrorism.

He said that we have no doubt that the fraternal people of Turkey would decisively defeat the evil of terrorism with their resolute will and unshakable determination. The govt of Pakistan reiterated its condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
