LAHORE - Pakistan Awami Tehreek is starting second phase of its “Qisas Movement” by holding sit-ins in different cities from today.

According to statement issued by PAT yesterday, the sit-ins will be held in 82 countries and participated by the delegations of PTI, PPP, Majlis-e-Wahdatul Muslimeen, PML-Q, Jamaat-e-Islami, Sunni Ittehad Council and others along with the workers of PAT.

A meeting to discuss the protests was also held at PAT head office Model Town which was presided over by party chairman Dr Tahirul Qadri.

“We will continue our struggle to get justice for families of Model Town martyrs. The days of the killers of innocent PAT workers are counted. They will soon be behind bars,” said Dr Qadri who directly blames PM Nawaz Sharif and Punjab CM Shehbaz Sharif as conspirators and perpetrators of the Model Town incident. Two years ago, 14 workers of Pakistan Awami Tehreek were killed in clash with police.

The PAT chairman also alleged ‘the Sharifs sponsored every terror activity’ in Punjab.
