PIAF celebrates 20th anniversary

LAHORE - The Pakistan Industrial & Traders Associations Front (PIAF) has turned the LCCI into a chamber of small traders and manufacturers. It is a movement which has succeeded with the help of both traders and industrialists.

This was stated by PIAF Chairman Irfan Iqbal sheikh while addressing a grand function to celebrate the 20th anniversary (1996-2016) of PIAF. The function was attended besides its leadership and members by a large number of business community and govt officials including Lahore DCO Capt (r) Muhammad Usman.

The ceremony was addressed by PIAF leadership including senior vice chairman Tanveer Sufi, vice chairman Kh Shahzeb Akram, former chairmen Mian Shafqat and Mian Anjum Nisar.

The chairman said that all members deserve appreciation and admiration for their efforts to lift the association so high since the day of its inception in 1996.

Irfan Iqbal said that a journey which was started in 1995-96 has now reached a landmark having twenty years of its devotion and complete dedication with all business community. They said that since its very inception the PIAF has proved itself an effective voice of the business community for the promotion of Trade & Industry.

All PIAF senior leaders, former chairmen including Mian Shafqat Ali, Mian Ajnum Nisar, Muhammad Ali Mian, Sheikh Muhammad Arshad, Mian Abuzar shad, Irfan Qaiser Sheikh, Sohail Lashari, Tahir Javed Malik, and sitting chairman Irfan Iqbal Sheikh were also honoured with the medals on the occasion.

At the end of the meeting a cake was cut to mark the 20th celebration of the Association.
