LAHORE - The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party has approved three development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of Rs12914.502 million.

The schemes were approved in the 11th meeting of PDWP of current fiscal year 2016-17, presided over by Punjab Chairman P&D Board Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan. Secretary P&DD Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, members of the Planning & Development Board, provincial secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting. Approved schemes included one scheme of road sector titled repair and rehabilitation of road from Silanwali to Chak No 58/Janubi via 119 More, 126/SB (length=39.80 km), district Sargodha (revised) at the cost of Rs 1034.869m. The other two schemes are Integrated Reproductive Maternal Newborn & Child Health & Nutrition Program at the cost of Rs9882.560m and Prevention and Control of Hepatitis B&C in Punjab at the cost of Rs1997.073m.
