PORT OF SPAIN - A sodden outfield has prevented play before lunch on the second day of the fourth and final Test between the West Indies and India at the Queen's Park Oval in Trinidad on Friday.

After two inspections of the outfield following torrential rain on Thursday and overnight, the umpires scheduled another inspection for 1 p.m. local time (1700 GMT). Rain and a saturated field had limited play to just 22 overs on the opening day on Thursday. West Indies are 62-2 in their first innings after winning the toss and choosing to bat, with Kraigg Brathwaite 32 not out and Marlon Samuels unbeaten on four. India lead the series 2-0, but need to win the fourth Test to prevent Pakistan from overtaking them at the top of the world rankings.
