MIRPURKHAS - A peasant was bitten by a snake while he was working in field in Deh 150, taluka Digri on Saturday.

Reports say that Lalo, son of Weersi, was working that a snake bit him. He was rushed to taluka hospital in Digri where he was provided first aid.

Meanwhile Digri police have detained two persons Ismail and Javed, residents of Multan, from Qazi hotel on charges of violating Sindh Temporary Resident Act.
