The gory details

In a recent shooting spree, by a twenty years old young man in Newtown, Connecticut USA, twenty six people were killed including twenty children. This unfortunate incident took place in a country which is regarded as the super power, where everyone has the freedom of speech and communication. But hats off to their media which did not show even a single victim bleeding or body parts torn of rather they are busy in the critical analysis of the whole episode. On the other hand, our electronic and print media literally shows everything in such mishaps, ranging from mutilated bodies to the severed human parts. Same thing happened last year in the Japanese Tsunami, in which nearly eighteen thousand people died, but not a single corpse was shown. Therefore, I believe that our media should now become more responsible and mature and use the freedom of speech in a positive way giving apt suggestions to defuse any such future mishap instead of showing bloodied bodies.
