CTZ London - Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow’s daughter Apple is following in her father’s musical footsteps by singing and playing guitar at a Christmas concert.
Gwyneth shared video footage of the performance on Instagram.com, and captioned the clip, ‘Best wishes and love to all for a happy holiday.’ The youngster is seen in a white gown strumming the guitar and singing along with a choir to Keegan’s Christmas by rockers Marcy Playground.
The former couple, which parted ways in a ‘conscious uncoupling’ in 2014, has been notoriously private over their eldest daughter Apple and young son Moses, but since their split, Gwyneth has shared many snaps of her family, including one of her daughter hugging Taylor Swift backstage at a concert.
Chris recently announced a world tour with his band Coldplay, and the rockers will also play at the Superbowl half-time show in February. Moreover, Usually, when we see new photos of Apple Martin - the only daughter of Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow - we’re awed by how much the little miss takes after her mom. Because between Blythe Danner, Goop and Apple, we’re talking multi-generational twinning going down in that. But the latest video Gwyn shared of her mini-me shows a trait we hadn’t ever seen before: her impressive music skills. Turns out, 11-year-old Apple already knows her way around an acoustic guitar, nimbly switching from note to note as she strums and sings along with her holiday choir.
As Coldplay readies to perform at Super Bowl 50 and embark on their (possibly final) world tour for A Head Full of Dreams, we’re starting to wonder if little Apple isn’t a contender for an opening act. OK, OK, so that’s a stretch but she does have some stellar rhythm on display in this vid, so we definitely wouldn’t be surprised to see her one day opting for the stage life instead of acting or modeling like her mum. Of course, she’s a natural in front of the camera as well, so the world is basically this little girl’s oyster.
