FAISALABAD: The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) sealed a soap factory where cooking oil was being extracted from remains of chickens which led to seizure of 50 ton of cooking oil.

According to details, the PFA team raided a soap factory in Murad colony of Faisalabad. Cooking oil was extracted from remains of chickens collected from across the city.

The owner and employees of the factory fled from the scene on a leak information of the crackdown leaving behind 50 ton of cooking oil which was seized and factory sealed.

Meanwhile, a case has been registered against the owner, employees of the factory and raids were being conduction for their arrest.
