PM leaves for Bosnia

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif today left for three-day official visit of Bosnia Herzegovina along with First Lady Kulsoom Nawaz. During the visit the prime minister will have a one-on-one meeting with the Bosnian counterpart while talks will also be held at delegation level.

The visit is in response to Bosnia and Herzegovina from 20-22 December 2016, at the invitation of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers (Prime Minister), H.E. Dr. Denis Zvidvic.

Apart from delegation level talks with the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, the Prime Minster will meet the Chairman and members of the Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Presidency, leaders and members of the lower and upper houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Reis-ul-Ulema, Mr. Husein ef. Kavazovic.

The Prime Minister will also address a Business Forum and meet with members of the Foreign Trade Chamber and Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Foreign office spokesman said both countries will review the entire range of bilateral relations with a special focus on political, trade and economic ties, inter-parliamentary linkages and enhancing cultural and educational relations. The Prime Minister will also exchange views with Bosnian leadership on regional and international issues of mutual concern.
