LAHORE – The City received scattered showers on Sunday with experts predicting cloudy weather and more rains during the next 24 hours.

Patches of clouds, light rain and winds enhanced chill in the weather during the day and at the nighttime.

On Sunday, maximum and minimum temperature in the City was recorded 19.6 degree Celsius and 6.5 C respectively. Relative humidity in the morning was recorded 68 per cent which decreased to 46 per cent in the evening.

According to the experts, a westerly wave is moving across Afghanistan and adjoining north Balochistan and Khyber PK.

Local meteorological department has forecast fairly widespread rain with snowfall over the hills for Malakand, Hazara divisions, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during the next couple of days. Met office has forecast rains at scattered places of North Balochistan, Khyber PK and North Punjab. Mainly cold and dry weather is expected over the remaining parts of the country.
