JHANG - Four robbers were killed and two passers-by injured in exchange of fire between the police and robbers.
According to DPO Shahzad Akbar, the police approached four robbers who were fleeing after looting four shops in Bhawana Adda on Sunday. In Adilwala Bangla area, upon seeing the police party, the robbers attacked police with heavy automatic weapons and fire rockets. In retaliatory fire all the four robbers were killed on the spot. Two passers-by were also injured in the shootout who were taken to nearby hospital for treatment.
The police took the vehicle used by robbers into custody and recovered the looted cash and others valuables.
