ISLAMABAD - Top seed Danish Atlas Khan beat his elder brother and second seed Aamir Atlas Khan in the final of the $6000 Kish Persian Gulf Cup 2014 Squash Championship on Wednesday. Talking to The Nation from Kish , Danish , who was the top seed of the event, said: “It was a very tough match with Aamir , who is current Asian Senior Individual Squash Champion. He played really well, as he was still not 100 percent fit which allowed me to beat him 11-7, 10-12, 11-9, 11-8 and win the title .” Danish said that earlier in the semifinal, he beat Yosif Nizar Saleh 3-2 while in the second semifinal, Aamir had to really dig deep to win his encounter against sixth seed British Youssef Abdalla. “It was a moral boosting victory for me, as I needed a title badly to restore my confidence,” Danish concluded.
