MITHI : German Consul General Dr. Tilo Klinner has said that the German government would extend all kind of support to the Federal and Sindh governments to complete the Thar Coal project. Talking to the media during his visit to the cultural places of the district, he said that Thar Coal Project would not only end power load-shedding in the country but also help develop local areas and upgrade the living standards of local people. He said that Engro company is working on the project, and added that German government would sign agreements with other companies to expedite the development work for completing Thar Coal project.
Appreciating Sindh’s culture, he said that the culture of Sindh teaches lesson of love, brotherhood, harmony and peace.
The German envoy and his wife Luba Klinner along with PPP MNA Shazia Atta Marri visited Krishna temple, Mithi city and handicraft shops. The German diplomat also visited Sanghar, Khipro, Umerkot and Tharparkar.
