Pakistan beat India in first blind ODI

LAHORE - Anis Javed’s significant 163 runs helped Pakistan beat India by three wickets in the first Blind One-Day International (ODI) at Southend Club Ground despite centuries by Kathen Patel and Hitesh Patel.
According to information made available here on Wednesday, Anis looked in a great nick as he blasted as many as 23 boundaries in his 91-ball knock and M Zafar made 91 as Pakistan romped home for the loss of seven wickets with six balls to spare. Earlier, standing-in captain Ajay Reddy won the toss and batting first Indian team amassed a mammoth 418 all out in their 40 overs.  Kathen Patel hits four eights in his 67-ball 126 and Hitesh slammed 12 boundaries in his 109.
Pakistan which made the clean-sweep in three match Twenty20 series, took 1-0 lead in the 3-match ODI series.The second match will be played at National Stadium on Friday and third on Sunday.
