LONDON - The British Police has appealed for information after a Pakistan-origin woman was found dead in a fatal fire in Walthamstow, East London. The incident happened on the evening of January 4 when the Police were called to reports on fire at a residential address. The body of a woman was found by fire-fighters and she was pronounced dead at the scene. She was identified as Fiza Asif, 27, who resided at the address. According to a Police spokesman, a post-mortem could not give a cause of death and tests are continuing. Her death is being treated as unexplained at this stage. Detectives investigating the fire have appealed for witnesses who were in the area at the time to come forward and provide information about the fire. The inquest was held on January 11 at the local coroners court and adjourned.
