LAHORE Additional District and Sessions Judge Rao Abdul Jabbar while canceling the bail of an SHO who was allegedly involved in a murder case has ordered the police to arrest him from the court room. The accused SHO has been arrested and put behind the bars in Islampura police station. The accused SHO of Lorry Adda police station inspector Rana Taseer was incriminated in a murder incident, which took place in Shadbagh police precincts in 2005. Earlier, police sources said he was pronounced innocent and had been discharging his duties in different police stations since long. Badami Bagh DSP Shahzad Khan, however, said the SHO had been involved in the case registered with Badami Bagh police station under section 109 but was declared innocent. Police concerned had also announced him innocent during investigation and the court also maintained him blameless, he added. He, however, said later Rana Taseer was found involved in another murder case registered under section 302 against him and was on bail since long. On Wednesday, the Judge cancelled his bail and directed DSP Lower Mall Khalid Mehmood Khan, DSP Badami Bagh Shahzad Khan, SHO Badami Bagh Mohammad Sabtain and SHO Islampura Naeem Anwar Bajwa to arrest him on the spot. Moreover, sources in Islampura police station revealed the big guns of police department were planning to release him but they said it was quite impossible now as Taseer was arrested in-front of the Judge. They said over 12 people mostly top police officers were in Islampura police station and were planning to save his skin by shifting him to hospital with a plea that the SHO was a patient. Interestingly when contacted DSP Lower Mall said he was unaware about the incident.
