LAHOREEditor-in-Chief The Nation and Chairman Nazria Pakistan Trust Majid Nizami has stressed the need to be a true follower of Mujaddid Alif Sani for securing a bright future for the country. 'We should also be ready to confront the conspiracies of the troika-America, Israel and India as they want to harm Pakistans nuclear capabilities, he said. He stated this while addressing a special sitting regarding 'Mujaddid Alif Sani Day at Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan on Wednesday. NPT and Pakistan Movement Workers Trust organised the sitting to mark the services of great Sheikh which he had done for the revival of Islam in second millennium. Justice (Retd) Muneer Ahmad Mughal, Vice-Chairman NPT Prof Dr Rafique Ahmad, Sajjada Nasheen Chora Sharif Pir Syed Muhammad Kabir Ali Shah, Sajjada Nasheen Sharqpur Sharif Mian Khalil Ahmad Sharqpuri, Prof Dr Zahoor Ahmad Azhar were the other speakers. In the Sub-Continent, the Great Sheikh Hazrat Ahmed Al-Faruqi (RA) is known as Sheikh Ahmed Sirhindi or Mujaddid Alif Sani. Majid Nizami said that Mujaddid Alif Sani worked hard to strengthen Islam in the Sub-Continent. Nizami said that Great Sheikh stood up against the Mughal King Akbar and his son Jahangir to protect Islamic identity. 'Had the Sheikh not been there, the Muslim identity would have been defenseless, he said. Dilating upon the current situation of the country, Majid Nizami said that despite the fact that Pakistan was surrounded by difficulties yet 'we should not let the hope go down. He said that following the teachings of great Islamic heroes 'we could secure the future of the country. The speakers said that the ideology of Pakistan had generated from the Sirhindis thoughts and later had spread across the Sub-Continent. They said the Sheikh had gifted Islamic identity to the Muslims of the region. They were of the view that Mujaddid Alif Sanis teachings sowed the ingredients of freedom in the minds of the Muslims which later led towards the creation of Pakistan. '
