Bandits loot judges

BAHAWALNAGAR - Bandits rule the roost in Bahawalpur as eight judicial officers including two additional district and sessions judges were looted here.  The two AD&SJs, a senior civil judge and five civil judges were proceeding towards the district by two cars. Near the Sutlej River bridge, the eight dacoits riding a car deprived them of their eight cell phones, Rs40,000 and other valuables and managed to escape.  In reaction, the District Bar Association observed complete strike over the incident and announced to continue the strike for three days. Because of poor law and order across the town robberies and other crimes have become order of the day.  The law enforcers have have failed to cope with outlaws. Sources said that the honourable judges were on their way from Khanewal after attending the funeral prayers of brother-in-law of a D&SJ.
