LAHORE – Punjab Election Commission following the directions of the Supreme Court held a meeting on Thursday regarding eunuchs as voters in the electoral rolls.
The meeting was held at the office of the provincial election commission under the chairmanship of the director general of election commission of Pakistan, while attended by Akram Javed, secretary social welfare department Punjab, Lt Col (Retd) Nawaz Ahmed, General Manager, NADRA, joint provincial election commission and representatives of Eunuchs, Shahana Abbas Shani, Laila Naz and others.
 The meeting was told that only those eunuchs could be registered as voters who were in possession of CNIC for registration as voter.
