Cops beat up hotel staff for demanding bill payment

RAWALPINDI – The cantonment police personnel allegedly beat up hotel owner and staff and registered a case against seven persons on charges of aerial firing after cops were asked to make payment for bill.
Sheikh Muhammad Arif, owner of ‘Food Corner’ a hotel situated in Chota Saddar Bazaar, registered a case with police, saying that Abdul Latif and Ali including five unknown persons have had meal at his hotel but left without paying the bill. He said that they started beating the hotel staff and verbally abused him when hotel staff issued them a bill and sought payment for their food. Besides, they opened aerial firing and registered a case against seven persons on charges of firing.
