HAFIZABAD - The Punjab Bar Council has cancelled the licenses of six advocates of District Bar Association of Hafizabad for violating the order of PbBC for electing a parallel body of the DBA.
In its earlier order, the PbBC categorically declared that the Election Board constituted by the Acting President of the DBA is only lawful and authorised to conduct the election of different slots of DBA for 2013 but they elected a parallel body. Licenses of the following were suspended by the PBC: Muhammad Farooq Khokhar, Ansar Mehmood Dhothar, Rana Adeel Maqbool, Rana Zulifqar Ali, Malik Nasir Awan and Shahzad Ahmed.
