One year ago schoolgirl Malala Yousafzai was shot in the head by Taliban - her "crime", to have spoken up for the right of girls to be educated. The world reacted in horror, but after weeks in intensive care Malala survived. Her full story can now be told. An another such example about terrorism is when ex-MPA Zobia Rubab Malik was hit by extremist organization on Jan 26, 2013 for her progressive views. Luckily, she was not present at her residence at the time of attack. Her only sin being that she got a resolution passed from the PA  demanding reforms in Madrassas.–Contributed
