LAHORE – Pakistan Air Force (PAF) defeated Karachi Port Trust 3-1 in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) 2015 match played at the KPT Football Stadium, Karachi Monday. PAF were off to flying start as they slammed three back-to-back goals in the first half to take healthy 3-1 lead which was enough to put extra pressure on their opponents. Mansoor Khan opened the PAF account in 20 minutes with his superb goal while in 33rd minute, M Arif Nawaz came from behind to hammer another making it 2-1 and soon after 2 minutes, M Mujahid enhanced his team’s lead 3-1. It was being felt, KPT will suffer further due to immense pressure on them, but they not only defended well but also managed to score a consolation goal through M Waseem in 47th minutes. NBP will take on Army today (Tuesday).
